April is an exciting month in Clovis, as it kicks off with Big Hat Days, a two-day festival. This festival at the beginning of the month builds excitement for the Clovis Rodeo, which occurs the last weekend of April. This is also the start of the Friday Night Farmers’ Market in Old Town Clovis, which runs through October.

Clovis residents are proud to be a part of the award-winning Clovis Unified School District, which boasts a 97.2% graduation rate. Currently, the district serves 32,000 students. The Terry Bradley Educational Center will be the district's newest school site and is set to open for the 2025/2026 school year. It will host a high school, a middle school, and a neighboring elementary school. In addition, there will be several athletic fields and a multi-floor gymnasium.
