There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. One option for burger fans is the House of JuJu, a family-run establishment serving up juicy gourmet burgers, delicious salads, and wraps. Anyone who loves craft beer and is craving tasty pub food can stop by the popular neighborhood spot, The Mad Duck. Additionally, couples can make reservations at Trelio Food & Wine, where there is always something new to try on its seasonal menu. All the locally-owned restaurants pride themselves on supporting the local agriculture sector.
 

Things to Do

Clovis is host to fun annual events that residents can enjoy. Watch the rise of hot air balloons as they mark the beginning of Clovisfest, an annual event celebrating the community with craft booths, diverse food options, and live music performances. April is an exciting month in Clovis, as it kicks off with Big Hat Days, a two-day festival. This festival at the beginning of the month builds excitement for the Clovis Rodeo, which occurs the last weekend of April. This is also the start of the Friday Night Farmers’ Market in Old Town Clovis, which runs through October. 
 
Aside from the array of annual events held within the city, there are also many year-round entertainment options for the whole family. Schools

Clovis residents are proud to be a part of the award-winning Clovis Unified School District, which boasts a 97.2% graduation rate. Currently, the district serves 32,000 students. The Terry Bradley Educational Center will be the district's newest school site and is set to open for the 2025/2026 school year. It will host a high school, a middle school, and a neighboring elementary school. In addition, there will be several athletic fields and a multi-floor gymnasium. Clovis Unified School District is a top-performing school district dedicated to providing its students with a high-quality education.
